Veracruz - Feb
Hi all
My wife and I aren't riding as far this time as the rest of you hardy souls but we'll be between Phoenix and veracruz the last two weeks of feb/First week of January.
If anyone is in that area during this time drop a note to the HUBB and maybe we can hook up for a or dinner etc.
Cheers
Dale

Well, I'm in Nova Scotia and hoping to head for Mexico about the last week in January. Going to put the bike in the back of the pickup down to where it's warm enough to unload and ride down from there. Everything depends on how it's going with my business
Hopefully I'll see you guys on the road down there, I really want to see Copper Canyon and the Espinoza del Diablo, the rest of the time I'll just waste riding along the coasts.

Mexico, central america in december and january
Hello folks,
I am in Ottawa. I have a KLR 650. I am heading down to mexico on Dec 7nth and riding down the east coast ... tampico ... veracruze ... down to playa del carmen then down to belize, handuras ... but I am open for detrours offcourse.
My motorbike is waiting for me in houston texas as I took it down there in October. I am flying down on Dec 5th.
Anyone have concrete plan to go down south around that time. I see that several of you have tentative plans to do so. Please let me know.
Cheers.

February/march
Sounds like lots of bikes heading into CA this winter! Had to cancel a shot at TDF this winter but will have February and at least the first half of March to drift Mexico, Belize, Guatemala? Ride a KTM 990, will truck it south from the Toronto area in January. Done the Dempster, Trans-Labrador etc. Looking to hook up with someone with an equally undefined plan for winter.

Hey coors!
I left St. Catharines Ontario on Nov 17 on an 1150GSA and Im now in San Cristobal for a few days before heading into Guatemala. No real schedule in place other than the fact that I took 3 months off work and Im gonna keep heading south. I know Im a ways ahead of you but Ill check back from time to time and see if we might be in -range at some point. Ride fast but watch out for topes!!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
