Ride through China looking for people - Vietnam/Laos to Nepal
As the title says, I am looking for people to join me or to join a group to travel through China in 2013.
The cost of travelling through China by myself basically means it can't be done, as my plan is to ride from Singapore to Denmark and China solo would bankrupt me.
So I am looking for people/groups to help cost share the trip through China, entering from South East Asia and exiting in Nepal (ideally).
Like is said, 2013, I am very flexible on when and the route through China, also on the exit point but would prefer to exit into Nepal.
If you or anyone you know would like to discuss further, please leave a message below.
Kind Regards,
Christian

Thanks Pirate63, while I am looking to enter China from the south, depending on the response I get, I might be needing to ride around SEA first then ship my bike to India or some other alternative. If that is the case, I would definitely be interested in joining for a small loop into China.
Keep me posted on how your planning is going. Also, just out of curiosity, I assume you're using a tour company to organise the relevant permits?

Transit China Laos to Nepal
Hello pirate63,
My son and I are planning to transit China from either Laos or Vietnam then through Tibet and into Nepal. We will be traveling next year. We are also concerned about the cost of the China leg. If we cannot reduce the cost enough we will probably air freight the bikes from Bankok or Singapore to India.
If you are still planning your trip through China (or anyone else) please make contact.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
