Ride with us from Korea to Europe
We will arrive in Seoul, South Korea,on the 5th of June, ride across Korea, take the ferry to Siberia, ride through eastern Russia, ride south into Mongolia, then northwest into Russia, around the Stans., south to Georgia, and cross Turkey into Bulgaria. There were 6 of us shipping a container in mid May from Oakland to Korea. Now there are 4 or possibly 5 of us. If you want to do a two month ride with experienced riders who are able to get along with each other, let me know as soon as you can. For this trip, the bike of choice is the KLR650, or whatever you ride that can make the trip. We may have one KLR, world ready, that you can buy. Let me know at this site, or at erik.wallbank@gmail.com

Ride with us from Korea to Europe
Erik,
Are you still looking for another rider?
If so do you have a firm date on the container?
Can you tell me a little about how you ride? How many miles do you plan on doing each day? Will you do much off road riding or stay mostly on pavement where possible? Camp or cheap hotels?

Hi Erik,
Do you have a blog? Would like to follow your adventure as I will be driving the same way in July 2011.
Have a safe ride!

In Ulaanbaatar looking for rider (s) going west
Erik, It's July 2nd and I'm looking to hook up with at least one rider wanting to ride from Ulaanbaatar westward to Russia. I plan to enter Kazakhstan Aug 1st to continue westward to Russia, Turkey, Greece, Croatia and Germany. I ride a F650 and plan to camp and cook as much as possible. When do you think you will be in Ulaanbaatar?

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
