Scottish travellers wanted...
Hi, folks!
My name is Erik Peters and I would like to ask for a helping hand. I’m a German motorcycle journalist and I intend to produce a motorcycle travel video about Scotland soon. Therefore, I am looking for people who live in Scotland and can show me some typical Scottish things. It would be great to find someone, who, for example, participates in the highland games or someone who plays the backpipe. Maybe someone here is a chef and can show me how to prepare a real good haggis (I really like it!:-)). And, of course, it would be great to meet some bikers who can show me their favourite places or pubs . There are so many other things I am looking for. So, any ideas I should also report about in beautiful Scotland are more than welcome.
I really would appreciate your help and it would be nice to meet some of you guys on the road.
Cheers
Erik

Hello
Eric
I have just joined this site as I am planning an RTW trip 2015.
I live just outside Glasgow which is the biggest city in Scotland and i would be more than happy to help you out. I have been all over Scotland on my bike and i know it quite well.
Most of my friends ride bikes and I am quite sure between us we can point you in the direction you need for all of your ideas.
When were you planning your visit?
PS. Was going to send you a PM with contact details but not enough posts yet, PM me plz.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
