Seattle to South America Sept 2014
I'm leaving for South American from Seattle in September of 14. I'm riding a klr650 that has been gone over just for this trip. I'm not bent on route or time, and would enjoy the company of another rider. If your easy going and heading that way, lets hook up and make the ride interesting.

I tried to pm you but I don't have enough posts yet..I need five. Are you in Edmonds? I've been researching routes, looking at baja then ferry. Do you have any route in mind? My brother lives in ecuador, so I plan to stop there for a week or so. Other than that, Im not in a hurry at all. I can get by in Spanish as well. I'd love to hear your plans.

Hi all my name is jay. I will be leaving the 15 th of oct 2014 from Boston to panama. I have 4 months so I figure I will end up going a lot further than just panama. Will be riding a 2013 klr 650. Maybe we can all ride for a bit together if we can. Be safe and have a blast

Jay, if we are in proximity of each other...lets ride. I think I might be a little ahead of you though. I'll be heading out in the beginning of September. I'm thinking of staying west coast side until Guatemala. Perhaps I'll dilly dally and you'll catch up. If you have enough posts, pm me and I'll give you my email.

Hey folks,
Holk: They're going the other way.
HCl: I'll be headed south from BC to Ushuaia on/about 5 July '14 with fxbonneville, we don't have a solid timeline yet, and may be spending some time in Mexico City. You may end up catching us, and I'd be happy to get you updates as to our where-abouts. Best of luck!

Jaime it's possible if I can finish all my work I can leave closer to when you leave. If I can make that happen I should also be looking at about 5 months to ride and explore

Jay, keep in touch, if you are ready around the same time that would be great. I'm hoping to make it to panama on the schedule of the stahlratte leaving from Cartagena to Colombia. The schedule is not out for so distant of a date. Here is a link. [url=http://www.stahlratte.org/]Stahlratte

Mexico in October
Hi all,
I will be traveling across the states for the summer and planning on riding down Baja in September/October. At the moment I'm rebuilding my 86 honda XL600R.
I'm not sure your timeline, but the only thing I'm planning is to be in Puebla for Halloween/Day of the dead. I've got some friends along the way in Mexico (merida, puebla, monterray) to stay with as well. Wouldn't mind riding company! I may keep heading south afterwards- all depends on money.

Hey Jamie,
I am leaving from Baltimore in June, heading south to the blue ridge, then cross country on the trans american. I'll be heading up to seattle and down the PCH in August/Sept with a friend who may or may not continue into Mexico. No hard timeline other than date I'm setting out!
Also Muffalo- depending on how everything goes, I was hoping to hit Brazil.
Sorry I didn't respond sooner- still trying to navigate using forums.
