Seeking adventure rider: Trans Labrador highway.
Looking for an adventure rider for an upcoming ride on the Trans Labrador highway next Aug-Sept, 2015.
You should have a dual purpose motorcycle equipped to handle some 500 miles of gravel/dirt roads. You will also need all equipment to tent camp the entire route. You should also be willing to prepare your own meals as there may be little in the way of eateries along much of the route.
I will be starting near Washington DC and the route will take us through PA, NY, NH, into Canada near Montreal, then north to the Trans Labrador highway. We will then take a ferry over to Newfoundland then another ferry to Nova Scotia. The return route is open for discussion depending on interest, time and return destination. I make the total trip length 5K to 6K and taking approximately 20 days.
If seriously interested, please contact me at jakdog888@aol.com. I will share my bio with you and give you more details including weather data, needed documents, equipment suggestions, and bike prep if wanted.
