Talking South America Oktober 14 - March 15

Hey all,
I start my South America tour on 25.09.14 from Valparaiso / Chile.
First direction east: Visiting Salta, Pantanal, Iguacu, Florianapolis, Montevideo / Buonea Aires.
Second direcion south: Some interesting spots and glacieres on the road, Puerto Madrin, Coihaique,Christmas in Ushuaia.
Third direction north: Along the andes a lot of spots, Glacieres and Vulcanoes, Atacama, Uyuni, Peru, Ecuador.
Is there anyone on the road to meet and ride and have fun together for a couple of time?
Hope to see you!

Hola Heini, I got the same bug about 3 months ago. Traveling South bound from Colombia. Currently in Ecuador and heading to Peru in about 10 days. Let me know if your going to be anywhere South of me in the next 3-6 weeks and maybe we can share some road and swap some stories.

Hey Heini, I'm planning on heading off from BA or Rosario around end of Novemberand head to Ushuaia for Xmas roughly along the east coast of Argentina. If your plans coincide, get in touch. Would love a companion! andrewjmillen@gmail.com

CHRISTMAS in TDF 2014

Hi,

I'm heading South to TDF from Montevideo around 10 December. Mostly along the East coast of Argentina from Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata, Bahia Blanca, Puerto Madryn, Comodoro Riveria, etc. Usually quick hostels at night but camping with penguins in the South. The idea is to be in TDF to meet Santa and fellow riders. Then North to camp in Torres del Pina for New Years Eve. Always looking for fun/adventure/new friends so lets hook-up!

I ride a BMW off-road sidecar outfit and have lots of on-board tools and spares if you get stuck. Sort of a rolling motorcycle shop, classroom and bistro with SAT/wifil contacts! And maybe a Malbec somewhere in that BIG pile of gear!

Ride Well,
Ramey 'Coach' Stroud

Hi Coach,
I'll be heading south from Rosario around the 7th Dec along the east coast so hopefully will run into you along the way. Particularly in the case of an emergency!
Cheers,
Andrew

Hi Heini, if everything goes according to plan I'll pick up my bike in Foz do Iguacu around December 15th. First cruising in Brazil, then heading to Bolivia. I'm solo as well so would be nice to meet up!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
