South Dakota heading south - Now!
Hi all,
I'm about 6 weeks in to my tour of the USA from Germany and have made it as far as Spearfish/Sturgis/Deadwood in South Dakota where I am waiting for for parts for my Honda Pan/ST1300 which I dropped the other day.
I'm blogging as I go from my cell phone, which I think I managed to post in the wrong forum earlier, but that's beside the point.Anyway, from here I am planning to head across a bit and cross in to Nebraska around Yankton and then head via no particular route towards Tenessee.
I'll probably leave here on Thursday once the bike is fixed and serviced. After catching up with Marc Gibaud the other day in Cody, WY I thought I'd see if anyone else wants to cross paths on the way down??
I have no plan from Tenessee onwards at this point as I'm making it up as I go, so can't give you any more information than that.As I mentioned I am doing this all on my cell phone, so I'll try to check the website every few days.
Easier is email as:
jason@mymotorbikeadventures.net
which I check every day.
The blog is at www.mymotorbikeadventures.net for anyone who is interested.
Laters
Jason

Spot in TN
Jason,
When you get to TN, you might want to take a route to Jellico area. Here is a link for the #1 camping/motorcycle shop in the area, called the IronHorse. Deals Gap is a notorious winding mountain road called tail of the dragon.
If you end up anywhere near North Georgia, shoot me a PM and several of us will ride to meet you somewhere. I can also be found under the same username on advrider.com
cheers!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
