It's all a bit vague at the moment as I haven't done much more than kick a few dates around but with commitments here that looks like the only window.
I don't know if you've been to the Stella before but it's more of an "event" than a rally in the usual sense. I've only been once - in 2015 - but it was an interesting day even if I didn't know what was going on most of the time. Here's a link to my writeup of the experience: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...5-stella-82827 Sorry the pictures have succumbed to Photobucket's blackmail.
While trying to find the Stella 2018 date Uncle Google suggested this as an possibility (if money's not an issue): https://www.guidedmotorbiketours.co....laalpinarally/ I've never seen it "formalised" before; it's usually one of those events that people just get to know about somehow (as I did).

Come and find me on the mountain or I’ll be in a Campsite in Beaune on the Friday. It would be good to have a few s and a natter on the Saturday. I’ll be on a White BMW Xchallenge normally camped up on the car park near the Refuge.

You going from England?

I'm heading down from Nottingham on the Friday via Dover-Dunkirk. Plan to do as many miles as my ass can handle on the Friday so can take it steady from then onward.
What are you riding YoungAngus? Ill keep an eye out.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
