Swindon to Goa August 17
Hi, I'm traveling to Ridermania in Goa.
Leaving Swindon England in early August.
Riding a Royal Enfield Bullet 500 EFI.
I'm self employed with a very understanding girlfriend so fairly flexible with times and dates.
Anyone fancy joining me on this trip?
All the best

Hi mate,
I did that trip in reverse in 2001, India to Aylesbury. Honda dominator, good luck with your plans. It was amazing.
I'm currently seeking a side kick for a central asia tour in June 2017, hiring a bike locally and going around the silk road for 3 weeks. If you change what you want to do, let me know the Pamir Highway is my ambition this year.

If you are willing to leave earlier you might want to join us - completely or part of the way.
We are a group planing to go Georgia (9.7.), Armenia (11.7.), Iran (!3.7.), Turkmenistan (20.7), Uzbekistan (24.7.), Tadjikistan (31.7.) (Pamir Highway), Kyrgyzstan (10.8), China (12.8.), (Karakorum Highway), Pakistan(16.8), India(22.8).
The group current consists of trucks and cars only but every form of locomotion is welcome.

Hi I was looking to do this trip the other way round a bit later in the year. Can you let me have a bit more info please. I.e. rough schedule, budget return etc. I am retired so time is of no real consequence to me, however I tend to run on a quite tight budget. Presumably you will be bringing the Enfield back somehow.

Hi, I don't know how easy it is to do this trip in reverse.
Depends if your shipping your own bike in to India.
I don't have a fixed route . Just going to take my time and see what happens. Same with the budget. I'm self employed, so it all depends on how much I work before I leave. Sorry this is not to much help.

Goa
Hi Nick I think we need to talk quite soon. Definitely very interested, I'm based in Wales but as I'm retired I'd be happy to meet anywhere, anytime.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
