Hi Roger, I am in Nova Scotia at the moment and if all goes to plan I hope to be crossing into Mexico around the middle of December. I have done the Mexico - Panama route 3 times now so if you want we could meet up and discuss routes where the is cheaper or indeed when I pass through Texas. Ride safe, Mike.

Going South
Hiya,
I am planning to ride to Texas from LA (along route 66) and then cross into Mexico early to mid December taking about 4-6 weeks to ride to Panama. After reading Oisin’s blog I would really like to ride with someone through Central America to do all the border crossings.
I will also be stopping for short visits at some Casa Alianza projects that I am fund raising for. But am a pretty casual traveller if someone wants to meet up, do a bit together and then go their own way.
Let me know if you are going to be in the area around then.
Ciao,
Annette

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
