David we will see you there late Fri afternoon. Will need a cold after 2 x 800k plus days. We have 6 in our group so far. See another thread in Australia/New Zealand forum. Maybe we can talk about those secret back roads when we meet.

Newbie needing a ride
G'day boys,
I'm in Sydney and would love to come to the HU weekend (23rd to 25th Feb '07) but I currently have no means of transport to get me there and back!
If anyone knows of anyone who'd be prepared to put an extra 85kgs on the back of their bike for the trip down, I'd be extremely grateful and happy to contribute for costs, fuel etc and shout a few cold s too.
Please let me know if you can help or are aware of anybody who might be in a position to.
Many thanks
Rob

Mate that's a wonderful offer - thank you.
No licence is my biggest issue at the monent though so I'll have to politely decline.

Important Info
We will be sending a message to all, but thought I would give you the heads up here first :-)
Please bring enough cash with you to Tintaldra for the weekend, the Hotel doesn't take cards!!
Not sure where the nearest bank is, but have a sneaking suspicion it could be Albury/Wodonga!
I'm sure you can correct me on this one David.
Thanks,
Sian

I think Red Bull and Cone of Silence are in the same boat. Sounds like I am talking in riddles doesn't it, but both seem to be stuck for transport. Maybe you can get in contact with each other and find a solution.

No rowing I can assure you - but I've definitely got no transport options so might have to miss this one and get to the next one.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
