Interested
Hello, we are two youg french also seeking for travellers to share agencies costs. We will be at kirgizistan border aproximately at the end of september or middle of october. We are starting our trip in july with a nissan patrol 3.3 and will go trough turkey and iran to reach kirgizistan.
We have already contact agency ( Navo ) who propose a trip from torugart to north pakistan for 3600euros for one car and about 2000euros each for two cars ( 5 days ). They also proposed us from torugart to laos but it's more expensive ( about 20 days i think ).
They also said that nepal border is still closed for third country tourists.
Are you interested by sharing the trip with us ?
Are the date okay for you ?

Hi Ralf, Omar, Green man and Simon and Jordan,
We are a French couple planning to cross China in October/November 2017 from Kirghiztan (Irkeshtam) to Vietnam (Lao Cai) in approx 4 weeks.
We are travelling from France in a Land Rover Defender and will go through the same route than Simon and Jordan just a bit earlier (hope to leave before mid-June insha Allah).
We are really keen to share the cost of the guide since as far as we know the cost for such trip would be around 6,000€ for one vehicule but around 2,000 each if we can gather 4-5...
We are currently taking contact and asking for quotation to Greatway Chengdu Tour and Chinaoverland that are well knowed.
Let us know if you guys are interested!
Best,
Hugo

Hi folks,
Messaged a few of you individually - I'm planning on Kyrgy - China - Lao in mid-late Sept and would love to pair up to save costs.
I'm in a campervan and travelling with my girlfriend from London to Vietnam.
I've scouted out a few agencies and happy to share costs/findings...
Cheers,
Simon

I am one up on motorcycle, just starting to plan the long dreamed of China trip. Will start in Italy, (I am American but bike is stored in Italy), not sure which route I will take, Iran would be great if I can get in. If not will go north through the stans.
Posting here to catch those just starting to plan as I am thinking of entering China from north about mid May 2018.
I will start my own thread as soon as I get a better idea of time and route. But for now anyone else out there with the same general idea please send me a PM and we will see if we can put together a group to cut the guide costs down a bit.
For those making the Sept. trip please post a ride report letting us know what worked and what did not.
Bob
