Hey Bro,
to the HUBB!!
Fantastic trip you have planned there. Which way will you travel through Africa? West coast I am guessing.
8 months seems pretty tight IMO, I would think you would think a year would be good budgeting for time. Also travelling through central Africa is very slow.
Will you be posting here on the HUBB or do you have a blog/website?
Looking forward to hearing more as the plan develops into reality.
Cheers!

Thank you Mr Charger
And what very warm welcome, yes i plan to do the well worn route through eygpt then sudan to south africa and over to oz then home , and more than likely back again, the 8 month window is only a rough guild so no real time frame.
again thanks for the welcome

Hello
I'm very interested in this trip. I currently have an r1 but thinking of selling to purchase a gs adventure for this purpose. I have some money put aside and have no job so this is the right time for me.
Let me now your plans.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
