UK to Morocco Nov 2013 - Transport Available
Hi,
I just thought that I would see if anyone would be interested in taking the last two transport places we have already booked from the UK to Malaga & back.
We currently have five bikes leaving the UK on 30th October, which will arrive in Malaga on Friday 1st November. We have a return scheduled from Malaga for Monday 11th November back to the UK.
The inclusive price of the return bike transport is £525!
We are all first timers to Morocco, so this will be a voyage of discovery with ideas still shaping up of the content. Naturally you are free to just use the return transport, or you may wish to hook up for some of the trip.
PM me if you are interested - I will be at the HUBB UK meet later this month if you want to hook up in person.
Cheers
Gavin

Morocco
Hi Gavin,
Very interested in joining you on the Morocco part of the journey, I would not need the return shipping to and from the UK as my bike is already in Faro, Portugal. (Rode it down last November) Do you intend to do much off-roading
or staying on the Black stuff? Also camping / hotels etc?
Bike is a RT 1150 so not to good on the rough stuff.
Thanks and regards
Dave.

Hi Dave,
The group are all reasonably experienced off road and will be on principally KTM 950's, Husky 630's and Tenere's.
Although there will be some blacktop, we are hoping to "walk on the wildside" a fair bit too.
Plans are in their infancy, so keep close nearer the time.
Cheers
Gav

Hi Mark, enjoy the french trails - plenty of them and no rambliars ;-0)
For Maroc, definately no camping, everything very fluid though. If I personally get the opportunity I quite fancy a night in a bedouin tent!
Give me a shout when you get back.
Ride safe

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
