UK to Mongolia to Vladivostok to USA
Hello I am looking for any riding partners for my trip that starts on the 30th of this month and will lead me through.....
europe (can supply more details if wanted)
russia (visa starts on 12th of july but im flexible)
Mongolia
Russia
(Shipping to vancouver via korea as I think this is the only way)
Vancouver
Making my way down the west coast of america to south america..
Is anyone going to be around for any part of this trip. Could do with a riding partner for all or any part of this.
As sadly the fella I was going to meet up with cant do this trip due to unforseen circumstances.
Im an easy going guy and good for a laugh
I look forward to your replies

God mate if you were leaving a little later I would definitely have been up for joining you on the trip.
Its probably not worth asking but can you delay even a month or two and I will definitely join you as I was actually seeking to do a 'long way round' type trip ( http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...ype-trip-70904 ) and your route seems to include most the destinations I was hoping to travel through.

Once you land
I'll keep this in mind when you land in Vancouver and head south. I think I'd be good to go at least from Vancouver to Panama, Robert.

Gents I'm in Russia now, leaving Moscow tomorrow and riding east to Vladivostok (via Ulaanbataar from Ulan-Ude and back). I'm then doing Japan, Sth Korea, India all the way down to Oz and Nz, before shipping to Sth America and riding up to Canada and beyond.
You guys may well catch me up across Russia, I'm on a sportsbike (for charity) so be could to meet you.
Failing that, may see you guys on the road going the other way in the America's! I'll be the twat in white leathers on a gixxer :-)
Cheers

Will keep an eye out for you?
Hi Rfothy,
We are currently in Uzbekistan but heading North again to Russia over the next few weeks and then East to Mongolia. We are in a Land Rover 4x4. Paths may cross?
Cheers!

Ok I'm in Luxembourg at the moment trying to sort out my final jabs before heading into Russia/mongolia. Not having much success at the moment. Once I get these jabs sorted I hope to make my way to Russia via krakow in Poland and Kiev in Ukraine.
I'll be trying to get across Europe pretty quickly due to the cost of everything.
Will keep this thread updated with what I'm doing.
I may now not be doing the USA part of the trip due to the large cost and logistics.
But as I say I will update as I go along

Currently in Kiev sipping on a cold as I just got here (yes it's 2 I. The morning)
Anyhow....is anyone around?
I plan to leave here on Tuesday and head to Moscow basically, I intend to get to Moscow in the evening and find somewhere to crash there. If someone is already there and can sort me out that would be ace! As I will be tired after a long rude it would be nice to just turn up and have something sorted so I can just dump my stuff and meet whoever you are, have a and bed.
If anyone is around let me know, it's kind of boring at the moment on my own. Not so much the riding but the camping etc.

I can't offer to travel with you, as much as I'd love to. But I hope you have a great time. It would be nice to hear how you're getting on if you have time to do some brief notes too.
Have a fun trip,
Daniel

Sorry I didn't reply to what you said earlier I must have missed it.
Yes I could and would like to upload some photos and write a very basic ride report, as I'm not very good at engaging the reader through my words.
Just knowing how to put the pictures within the ride report.
