US to Chile, Oct'17

Hi all,

i'm from Russia and have 3 year ride experience on motorcycle.
In this year i want to made a motorcycle trip from North to South America.
I do not have any specific plan at the moment, but i will come to USA in first days of October. Then i will spend couple weeks in Southern states, and after that i will buy used moto and will take a ride to South America.

Do anybody have the same options?

Wow, so many people travel by the same route this year. Hope to see you all=)
Anycase i will think to move my trip to November, cause travel in Group is more safe for Central America.
I assume to travel 3-6 month.

Sounds like a good plan to dump the moto. Too darn hard to cross the gap 2 times. If you need a San Diego contact let me know. I really want to go into SA
have to re trace through C.A. as I've done that.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
