Hi Derek,
How is your progress?
Are you still hanging around in Montana?
I, and Wayne, are still trying to get away around October first.
Keep us up to date.

I have gone to Prudhoe bay to the Panama canal and will be leaving for Santiago Chile on January 2. I live in Minnesota and would love to talk to anyone about travel down there. Hi Derek,
I am still in Vancouver, but will leave on October first as planned
I'll ride through the U.S. pretty quickly, since my Canadian Insurance will run out on Oct. 8
I will likely ride with Wayne, another Canuck, who also for insurance reasons has to hotfoot it into Mexico.( Sounds like a couple of outlaws leaving town)
I'll keep our progress posted, so we will be able to hook up.
Keep in touch,
Peter

We will enter Mexico no later then October 8th, then down to "Barancas del Cobre".

Any one not going to Ushuaia?
Hi folks,
I'm just stopping for a couple of weeks, around LA. Just done 9,600 miles around North America and would like to wander around South america for a while, trying to keep off the beaten track. Will be going to Baja middle of Oct, then over to Mexico. Keep an eye out for my black, heavily laden, KLR; the wales and UK stickers are a dead givaway. I'll be glad to at least gas a while. A , food and cigarette break are always welcome.

Hi Derek,
Haven't heard from you for a while.
Where are you?
You should be deep into Mexico by now.
We, Wayne and I, are sitting in El Centro,Ca. waiting for tires.
We hope to be off by tomorrow towards Hermosillo and Creel.
Anyone else riding in this part of Mexico now?
We hope to run into one or more of you guys.
Keep your eyes on the road and travel safely.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
