Subject: RE: ALL CARGO EXPRESS ONLINE REQUEST for Doug Lear

Hi Doug,

We are pleased to offer our competitive rate as below and advise me if you have any concern or question.

Shipment 1: From Vancouver to Incheon airport, South Korea only – CAD1,625.00 all in
Based on chargeable weight 320.00kg, 76”X44”X34”

Draining of gas tank – CAD75.00
Crating a motorcycle – CAD350.00
Air Freight – CAD1,200.00

Transit time: 3 to 4 days
I was told I could crate the bike myself & drain the tank.
There will also be terminal handling fee, customs clearance and exam fees

Shipping from Sokcho,S. Korea to Zarubino,Russia. Stena Daea Line started service March 19.The ferry is named New Blue Ocean. This is the ferry I want to use.Seouljoe of HU says half a day to go through customs in Zarubino vs 3-4 days in Vlad.Zarubino is about 2 hours south of Vlad. and 25 miles north of N.Korea.The below info is what I got from Wendy Choi:

Dear Doug Apr.18.2013 Good day
Yes You can catch Stena Ferry at Sokcho Port with your bike.
The fee for bike(over500cc), it is USD500 + Some other charge like documents fee, cfs, tec(i guess it is approx usd100)
and passenger fee(abt usd200)
You can pay to Stena Ferry directly.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
