We will be in that area about that time.
July 16th Prince George, BC then taking the Cassiar Highway up to Watson Lake, YT on the 20th of July. From there going to Dawson City, YT. What is your route?

Hi everyone,
I am planning to tour Alaska this summer leaving the Blaine, Washington/Vancouver, BC area June 10. There will be a group of riders heading North together to Hyder, Alaska to experience the glacier. Most or all will return home but I plan to continue traveling north to Produe Bay and Inuvik. I may take the Marine highway from Hyder/Stewart to Juneau. That alone has many options for different stops and riding on the out islands plus visiting exotic towns available only by the ferry.
The group will be experienced riders and veteran travelers in Alaska. There will be no limit to the fun.
My long term plan is to continue traveling south to Central and South America when the weather turns cold. I have no set plan but would appreciate riding with others. I plan to camp and will be on a budget. Let me know if any of this fits into your plans. Bill.

Looking for travel companion on the way to Alaska myself. I planned to leave from Chicago around the same time. Why don't you drop me a note with your specific plans.

Hey Andy,
Any luck / progress w/ finding riding partners for the HU / NC and your 'northern' trip?
I'm interested in both as well.
NC wouldn't be a bad start.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
