Bike Insurance Morocco

Can any one who has done the UK/Morocco trip reccommend a company that will insure a bike for this type of venture. I'm having problems finding a company that will cover me outside the EU.

I had exactly the same problem in May. After ringing roung who knows how many companies I finally gave up and just went. I didn't get as far as morroco - the person i was travelling with got ill; But I did ask around a few places in S Spain. The tourist info people said that I could pick insurance up at the boarder and I've been told this by a few other people too who have done it. The insurance you get proberbly isn't worth the paper its written on though. Its a problem you'll get outside any 1st world country!

I may try for a green card through a german company I've heard about. It is however, true what you say, most UK companies are not willing to take on the risk.
