Carnet paper missing?
Here's the story: we started in Cape Town, South Africa and rode up to Ethiopia and then planned to airfreight our motos from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to Dakar, Senegal (west coast of Africa). Got everything figured out in Addis, had to get a freight agent etc. Our visa's were about to expire so we flew before the bikes did & had to leave the carnets behind. Ethiopian customs took the entire sheet (with our entry and exit stamp, the top part of each sheet). Carnets arrived in Dakar today (bikes arrived the other day) and now I discover this. I called our freight agent and he will try to find the paper but I have my doubts being that it is Ethiopia. I assume that this will be a problem as our pages go 1-8 then 9 is missing and page 10 starts. I also assume it will be a problem when I send the carnets back to USA and want my money back. Thoughts?
