Different nationalities and vehicle paperwork??
Hi All
A quick background, I have dual nationality (South African/British) and will be doing my trip on both passport. I am however currently in Australia and will be doing the trip with a vehicle registered in Australia.
So my question is, will this cause any problems at border crossing with a vehicle registered in Oz and with me not being Australian?
Countries I'll be going to will be from Eastern Russia, throught the Stans to London and then down the east coast of Africa to Cape Town.
I know with Egypt for example, with a british reg car and carnet it is 800% ofr something silly like that, but with an oz carnet it is only 200%. My concern is that when I get to the border and they see I'm travelling on brit/SA passport they will want to apply the 800%( ) even though it should be 200% because it is an Oz registered car with Oz carnet...???:confused1:
Any help/advice much appreciated.
Thanks
Pumbaa
