I feel your pain, 'fatpaw'. Most of us in North America only get 2 or 3 weeks of vacation, so it's an even bigger problem for us.
Maybe the best solution is to try and find a 'motorcycle penpal' in a country you're interested in, and then use them as a base. As others have wrote, though, you're always going to have problems with import restrictions.
You could find such a buddy and buy a cheap used bike in that country, keep it safe at their place, and let 'buddy' use it when you are not in country. I am thinking of doing something similar, though I'm not sure how to go about arranging it.
