M/C registration to another person name any problem?
Will buy a new bike and need/want to register it to my son or wife's name.
Doing this cause any problem at the border crossings or police check? (Especially Middle Asian countries and Stans)?
If I can ride it which documents should I have with me for easier checks/deal?
Do I have to ride a M/C which is registered only to my name ?

Hi,
the answer would be no. You will need a written permission from a notary signed by the owner and yourself, that the owner is allowing you to ride her/his bike.
cheers

Hi Samy:
Like Dooby said in his post above, the answer is 'no', you should not have any problems riding a motorcycle that is registered in your wife's name or your child's name. Just get a notarized letter stating that you are authorized by the registered owner to use (ride, have possession of, cross borders with, etc.) the motorcycle.
If it puts your mind at ease, my motorcycle is registered in my wife's name, and in 15 years of riding it, buying insurance, stuff like that, no-one has ever noticed or commented on the fact that it is not in my name.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
