The Alaska state ferries will do that as a matter of course. There are limited sailings across the Gulf to connect to ports in Southeast Alaska, from whence it's easy to sail to Bellingham (not Vancouver--to that you have to switch to the BC ferries in Prince Rupert, then switch again a time or two in Port Hardy, Nanaimo, etc.).
If that's not clear, Google the Alaska State Ferries and BC ferries and study, study, study. Expect it to be expensive and to have to reserve in advance. Easier if you ride back as far as, say, Haines and take the Southeast ferries from there.
For cruise ship information, you're on your own.
