Ferry from Iskenderun to Egypt suspended
Hi,
i just saw that UN RORO has suspended their route from Iskenderun to Egypt.
To my knowledge that was the only remaining option to get into Egypt.
I saw the link further down in this forum but the collection of information here is pretty outdated.
Any more recent information / alternate operators?
We are leaving in September. so still a few weeks to go. With some luck they might be resuming the route but I sure would like to have a plan B.

Nothing yet ?
Hi David,
I have the same problem has you, I've been spending long hours in the internet looking for an alternative route, not very sucsesful so far. There is a ferry from Marseille to Tunisia, but you can not cross Libya, meaning you need to go west ! I hope you find a plan B soon ! keep us up to date in your crossing !
Cheers,
Gilberto

Hi!
I will go with a Land Cruiser from Spain and i contacted several options. RoRo and container. Between 7 and 14 days they will take to cover the route Valencia - Port Said.
I don´t your starting point, but maybe if you need it I can send you the companies that I contacted.
Greetings

Hi
thanks for your replies.
I also found Salamis who are operating a line between Cyprus (starting in greece) and Haifa. That's what I have arranged for me now.

Ferry from Port Said to Iskanderun/Turkey
Hello Decker,
we are also in Egypt now and would like to take the ferry together with our landrover from Port Said to Iskanderun! Do you have any news about the ferry? Do you have a fixer in Port Said?
Thanks for any information!

Im shipping my car (roro) and me from Iskenderun in Tukey to Port Said in Egypt planed departure tomorrow.
By going this way on the ship and not flying into Egypt you must have a VISA to Egypt while they don't make it in the port in Egypt.
