From Finland to London???
Hi,
I am interested to ship a Vespa from Finland to London - next June it will be the World Vespa Days there...
Could anybody recommend any safe shipping company which can deliver my Vespa?

well...it's actually one of the absolute best touring bikes ever designed...sorry to appear rude, but is there any reason why you can't just ride it there and back ? (it would certainly work out cheaper)
Ps....I just love Vespas, and my PX200 is taking me to Iran next year

definitely ride it to the UK, and back.
At that time of year you will have about 19-20 hours of daylight here and eternal daylight further north.
If you are tight for time, then just use a van, with a co-driver if you are really tight for time.

Or check out Motor-rail if for any reason you're short on time...
However I have to say that getting to a Vespa meeting, on your own vespa from far away is just about at the top of the ....not to mention the coolness-scale...

Thanks for your advises
Unfortunatelly, I have no spare time (no less than 5 days one way) to ride by myself. This May we went to Norway from St.Petersburg for the same meeting - it took 4 days.. And some guys were from Sicilia, spending 10 days or more one way...
And in case of some problems which could happen on road with scooter - it is needed at least one day extra to planned.
So some of us intend to use a shipping company from Finland (it will be cheaper than from Russia directly, and less formalities...)

Look at here
MANN LINES
They sail weekly on Fridays from Turku. I have used them for WRC rally cars.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
