Sambor-Express Bishkek-Warsaw
Hi everybody,
After a great Brussels-Pamirs ride, my bike was supposed to leave Bishkek on the Sambor-Express July 22nd and arrive "around" August 8th in Warsaw.
I don't really worry (yet), but as of today (August 20th) no news from Krzysztof Samborski and unable to contact him.
Anybody around with some (good) news?
Thanks guys, and enjoy the Pamirs

I just returned to Bishkek from remote Pamir. One truck is in Poland but as far as I know you have the "ticket" for a transport starting this Thursday
Will be in touch again.

Didn't receive any mail/news so far. How is the "transport" doing?
Thanks for any update.

I would not recommend any thing like bike transport business with Mr.Sambor.. I had a painfull lack of communication with him, everything was fine until he get paid later he simply dissappeared. I had the info where to drop bikes in Bishkek on the last minute 5 hours before my flight. My helmets are in Bishkek and never delivered... FYI

I had exactly the opposite experience: everything went well with the shipping of my bike from Europe and back with Sambor Express

, forgot to tell you how the story ended…
I got my bike back ( however a couple of months later than expected) ; no damage, nothing missing.
As an apology for the delay Sambor brought the bike to my place (Belgium) instead of Warsaw.
Sambor is a great guy, but if he wants to continue making a business out of this, he has to fine-tune his communication skills a little bit ……… :-)
Nonetheless, overall, I'm satisfied!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
