Ship Buenos Aires to the UK in 3/4 weeks
Hey,
My other half is going to be shipping his bike from B.A. to the UK in approx 3/4 weeks, is anyone else planning on doing the same? Hoping to ship via sea unless he can get a good deal on a flight. If so want to share a crate??
Thanks

No personal experience from there, but about 1 year ago my friend used DakarMotos to send a 1200GS from BA to Europe (maybe Frankfurt, I don´t remember)... but anyway, costs at the sending end were in the region of 800 euros. This, I believe, is a very good price for airfreight, so I´d definitely give them a call.
edit. and he said that when he started his trip, airfreight from Europe to BA had cost him almost double that money!

Cheers, sounds good to me! He paid double that to get it from the UK to B.A!

I had asked DakarMotors for an offer : via Airfreight to Germany would cost about 2000US$.
I still do not know, if I want to do that. Might be I leave the bike in Arg/Uruguay for my next trip.
I would like to ship my bike back in May.
