Want to share a shipping container from Panama to Colombia Feb 2017?
Hi there!
We're two Canadians driving south and looking to find someone to share a shipping container to Cartagena with.
We're currently in Costa Rica, so will probably be looking to cross over around mid to late February. We are driving a Toyota Tacoma and are hoping to book travel on a sailboat for our journey across (though we haven't yet done so).
If you're looking to cross in that direction sometime near us, we'd love to hear from you!
Thanks!
Jess & Mike

Sharing a container from Colon, Panama to Cartagena, Colombia
Hi
We are two canadians traveling on motorbike.
We are in Portobello since 4 days now, joggling with all the possibilities...:
Sailboat ( but careful, now, you cannot ship your bike so easily on sailboat, law has been change in Colombia), shipping in cargo-container, or aircargo...???
Everythings seems complicate...or very expensive!!
So, if you are near by, and want to check wit us to share a container, please do!
Ciao ciao

Sharing Container from Panama to Colombia September or August
Hi!
I'm starting my journey through South America by September or August, depends on if I find a way to cross the bike from Panama to Colombia soon enough, and I'm looking for some people to share the container with.
Anyone going around those dates that would be interested on sharing a container?
My bike is a Honda CGL 125 so it's quite small.
Thanks!
Clara

Try to post at:

&
Drive the Americas |.
The last website seems to be sort of abandoned but the section with shipping partners is really active & can work miracles ;-)
Also, we have heard about huge whatsapp groups of Argentinians or other nationalities who travel extensively in south america, so a great amount of info goes around. If you manage to get into, then you are done!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
