Bonneville Cables
I'm just in the process of putting wider bars on the outfit and have discovered just what a PITA the OE cables could be on the road.
The clutch cable was fraid as it had been routed too tightly through the head stock area while the daft push pull throttle cables are a rotten job to change. I'd suggest anyone thinking of using the Bonneville for a decent ride takes the opportunity at the preparation stage to check their cables are learn about the throttle set up in the comfort of their garage.
More info: BTW, Norman Hyde in the UK are A-1. They sent the wrong brake hose, an easy mistake. One e-mail and 19 hours later the correct hose is on the bike. These gentlemen are people I'd deal with again and again if their customer service is anything to go by.
