Triumph Legend?

I saw once. Beauty. Looks bit like Bonneville. Drivers part of the seat bit lower and i think the petrol tank is bigger. Is this actual model or ? I have visited few triumph dealers pages but don't seem to find it. Legend text was on the side of the petrol tank, tool box or the gear box. Don't remember. I have seen such thing only once is rare or just some guy decided to mod his Bonn and add the legend text to it?

Keep searching on the web, such as here:-

triumph legend - Ask.com UK Web Search

Anyway, it is, or was (?) an official Triumph model - I don't personally know much about them, but here is a link from the search shown above:-

2001 Triumph Legend TT

I think it was aimed at the USA market.

It was essentially a budget version of the Thunderbird aimed at new riders. It kept the same engine and frame as the Thunderbird but with a black engine finish, an even lower rear sub frame and 17" wheels front and rear. Was replaced by the lower performance Bonneville as the entry level bike of the range in 2001 and as such only had a production life of about three years.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
