General Technical questions
Hi Grant and Susan,
I have just posted a question about chain cleaning. I put it in 'Travellers Questions That Don't Fit Anywhere Else' because I didn't want to put it on the XT forum (which is what my bike is) as I didn't want to limit the responses to just XT owners, this being a question about chains in general.
Do you think it might be a good idea to have a forum which was simply entitled something like: "General Technical Questions: technical queries that are not specific to one make of bike." ?
I notice there are often questions whcih are about general principles of mechanics, especially electrics, which need not be answered by someone who knows that specific model of bike, but simply someone who knows about bikes in general.
