Hi,
That's pretty bizarre. I have NO idea what the problem could be.
So I will need more help:
First, is it exactly the same error on EVERY page including the HUBB, Travel Stories, Trip Planning? Especially, is it always line 25?
Nobody else has reported the same error, so I wonder if it isn't your installation of IE6 that has a problem. Are you sure there is no problem on any other website?
Let me know and I will do what I can to solve it. Note that we will be unable to solve anything on the site after July 1 as we will be travelling, so please get me an answer soon.
Please also include a complete, exact translation of the error message.

Yes every page!
Very irritating, I now use netscape to view your pages..... ;-)
Its always 25 yes, I think it has something to do with a script you use, maybe in the menu as that is always there.
The IE I use comes with the dutch distribution of XP
Hope it helps, thanx

Thanks, but I still need the exact error message translated.
There is NO "document.slide" object used at all, and there is nothing at "line 25" (I'm assuming that is what is meant by "row 25")
Please check the fllowing two pages and give me the error message IN FULL and EXACTLY
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/johnson/
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/
These two pages are different, so should give me a hint.
Also, are you sure the error never shows up on any other website?
thanks, Grant

A runtime-error has occured.
Do you want to begin errordetection?
Row: 25
Error: 'document.slide is empty or is no object
If I start the debugger it sais: Runtime error Microsoft JScript: 'document.slide is empty or not an object.

Disabled what you said didnot work but:
I restrored the default settings in IE under tools->options->advanced and then disabled the following again:
Show user friendly HTTP error messages
Problem seems solved now, still there is the fact that there is a userfriendly error in your page ;-)
Bey for now

All of a sudden the error is back. At every page I open there is this error again! I checked my browsers options but they are still the same, but I did some "research" and found the script that causes the error.
There is a screen dump below, thanx if you can solve it Grant! Makes surfing your website like a lot more fun!

Frank,
Sure would like to know why it suddenly came back!
And what version of IE you are using!??? XP is irrelevant, could be anything - and I don't have XP) - no one else has come up with this problem, that I know of, and I test on (PC, not Mac) IE 5.0, 5.5, and 6.0, all latest patches, on Win 98 and 2000, and Netscape 4.7, and Opera. All fine.
I did fix a minor glitch in code, SHOULDN'T be related, but who knows. Try it now, and also try http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/includes/translate.htm and see what happens.
Let me know the results, also IE version (Help / About in IE).
thanks for your patience,

Okay, Grant,
Just installed the latest patch from MS and error is gone ;-)
But then again I am more and more moved to use netscape.... anyway, there is some error in that script but not a big one....
Might be interesting to have it fixed or not?
IE still shows a little icon with error on page in te bottom left corner... so there still is something wrong... and error on page shows again the document.slide is empty (double click on the "error on page")
My version of MSIE is 6.0.2600.0000.xpclient

Well that's a step forward at least!
I'd LOVE to fix the problem - but since I can't reproduce it and the code looks fine, and NO ONE else has reported the problem, it's pretty hard - so you'll have to help!
MY version of IE which has no problem is also 6.0.2600.0000 (BUT without the xp.client)
WHY the doc.slide is empty is weird.
Is the problem also there with the simple page:
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/includes/translate.htm ?
Do the t-shirts etc change on the simple page, (link above) and on the full pages? It should be cycling through Support HU text, and pics of mugs, t-shirts, hats etc.
let me know!
