Help with search
Hello
I am searching for info on carnets.
When I search, for example 'ADAC' and then filter the results by last modified date, I get lots of results that indicate that they have been modified within the last date but when I view these topics, they are several years old, and no recent posts?
How do I search by date and look for recent posts?

Have you tried searching the HUBB through google instead of through the sites search engine? Thats usually more fruitful.
cheers,

Hi,
We are having issues with search, and the system will be replaced eventually.
In the meantime, the HUBB search does find stuff, but date doesn't work well as a page can be marked as "changed" because there is stuff on every page that DOES change frequently - the notices at the top of the page, who's online etc.
The above comment about using google is good - for instance this google search does what you want.
It's just "site:horizonsunlimited.com adac" in the google search box.
Hope that helps!
Note that carnet info doesn't change much, so old is probably fine, depending on what you want to know.
Did you find the carnet info on the left menu under "Paperwork"?

Just wanted to find specific experiences and pros and cons of RAC and ADAC for uk peoples. I've put all the financial info in a spread sheet and i'm having a think now!

Are you aware that ADAC is not allowed to sell to UK residents? Each "Carnet issuing authority" is supposed to sell to their area only. If you don't live in an area with a carnet issuing authority then you can shop around.

thanks Grant, have found that out, might not be a uk reg bike I use, so just checking out both options.
although seeing the way diplomatic relations are crumbling at a rapid rate between UK and Iran, I wouldn't be surprised if brits and brit bikes are banned.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
