Old threads disappeared?
Have any of the older threads disappeared? On the old hubb, I used to have more than 500 posts, now it's less than that.
Also, I can't seem to find the long post I did, entitled "r100gs road test" which was a transcript of the discussion between myself and Grant about the demise of my 89 r100gs. I did use the search function and tried various permutations of key words.
It was linked to
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb...ML/000074.html and last refered to in http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...to-expect-8361 at contribution #11.

Your posts count will probably be less - the old system didn't subtract when a post or thread was deleted. The new one does.

Found the link I was referring to above:
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...mw-r100gs-7766
I did this by searching my own profile and then by threads I have started.
The normal (old) search function at the top right of the page and the new (advanced) Search function (the icon between "New Posts" and "Quicklinks") seemed not to find anything matching any combination of the key words in the thread title.

At least you found it!
I also found the thread - NOW - after the Search index for the new HUBB finally, (after about 5 hours), finished generating. I searched on 1989 BMW R100GS and found it.
The OLD search isn't integrated with the new hubb - it's still trying to search the old HUBB and there's nothing there. It will take another day or two to get it sorted. We're continuing to use it because I THINK it's a better search than the one integrated into the new HUBB software. Time will tell - we will have both working soon so we can test and see.
I will post when the old search is fully working and anyone can do some tests.

Underneath the posts that DO show is a "choose date range" box.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
