Stock library...
Oooooooooohhhh fun!!
I administrate a photo stock library (not bike related) - and if you set it up properly from the start, it pretty much runs itself.
We can make use of public servers, which costs pennies a month and virtually gives you unlimited bandwidth and space.
We might have to give contributors the OPTION of donating the funds to HU/charity, or keep it for themselves, although they might be disappointed...from 5 yrs experience in stock libraries, I can tell you, its NOT a meal ticket!  You could (and should!) charge a basic admin charge on transactions anyway.
Only that you don't want to lose out on high quality stock, because people don't want to donate the proceeds. The key to getting the press interested in your library, is having the best possible stock... so you have to be as accomodating as possible.
