Stop running this script, Script on this page is causing Internet Exp. to run slowly continuing to run this script may case your computor to become un responsive.
What do I need to do to correct this?
Thank You

Hi Cal, sorry for the problem, it's a new one to me!
Anyone else?
We run a few scripts, but nothing that should bother IE. It works fine on my Windows 7 machine with IE9, but on checking on my old XP netbook, it does come up with the same error message. I clicked ok and it finished loading instantly, so not a BIG deal fortunately. But very annoying!
What version of Windows and IE are you running?
I'll see if I can narrow it down and determine what's the problem, and report it here.
Thanks for letting me know!

I have had such messages in the past but not particularly associated with HU.
I get less of this type of message by using any of Firefox, Google Chrome or Opera browsers. Only very rarely do I open IE.
Might be worth a go.

Probably no help! But the only site I get that with is one of the open street maps sites.

Grant
I have Windows XP Professional Version 2002 and explorer version 8
It really is not a big deal just a bit annoying as other sites I visit do not show the message.
I just click yes in the message to turn off the script and away I go
Thanks

My netbook is also Win XP Pro and IE8, with the same issue.
I have narrowed it down to a particular script - I think - and am looking into making it smaller. May take a while though, so Calvin, thanks and keep clicking ok!
I DO highly recommend Firefox or Chrome over IE anytime though.
Biggest and favourite feature in Firefox that I use a LOT - there is a check box to turn on "search for text when I start typing" (under Tools / Options / Advanced / General - well hidden!) which means that when you're looking at a page, you just start typing whatever you want to find, and it takes you right there, instantly. Wonderful
Of course there's also a bunch of add-ins that make life easier too.
Everyone should have at least two browsers, as some sites don't work as well in one as another, and you find out what you like.
You don't need 5 like me though...

I was about to report this self same problem only to find it has already been spotted and yes I am IE although I only get the problem on this site and no other.
It could put people off using the HUbb if they happen to be IE of course so does need sorting whenever you can boss.
And I need to give this chrome malarkey a go.
Thank you.

Just to say I'm now using Chrome and the difference is, quite frankly, amazing.
Speedier than a speedy thing so if anyone else is getting similar problems then chrome is the way to go.
Thanks very much.

"Script Running" error message when on the HUBB pages fixed?
We've been trying to sort this, and have had no real success, though we have made some other tweaks that may affect it. It seems to be IE8 on Windows XP only. AND it seems to have gone away, we can't reproduce it at all now, so perhaps our tweaks sorted it!
So, if anyone has RECENTLY had this issue please let me know, otherwise I'll assume it's fixed.
thanks, Grant
