A Norwegian says hi
I found this site on Google searching after sites where I could find any informasjon on my new old XT. Have been a reading a lot of topics and found out that I wanted to sign up.
I love riding my bike on long trips mostly in Europa, just missing a few country that I will try to visit when I got the time to do it.
I have 2 Yamahas, a XVZ 1200 85 mod with only 100000 km on the clock.
The other one I got this summer is a XT 600 Tenere 87 mod with 65000 km on the clock.
Have a look on my website ktvadset to see the bikes and other pictures, the text is only in norwegian unfortunately.

Welcome to the site speedy. Always nice to get some input from Norway, my favorite destination. What's your take on the Newcastle ferry stopping in September. A lot of Norwegians travel over to the UK to tour Scotland. The route now will have to be either Smyril line or via Denmark.

Thank you, Norway is a nice country to travel in. Hopefully the ferry only take a break in the wintertime and will start again in the spring. If not I`ll be a bit sorry, next years trip was planed to go to Irland, in 99 we were travelling Scotland and the north part of England, in 06 we were doing the south and west part of England. I have also been visiting some ports in my job as a seaman. If Smyrilline will be the only option than it can be combine with a trip to Island and/or the Faroe island. It will take some longer time but I think it will be worth it.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
