Amateur Adventurer from Indiana
Hello all,
My name is Daniel, also known as Digger, from Indiana. At sixty-two years of age, I have over forty years riding motorcycles. I lived and breathed street bikes for the first twenty or so. I began scuba diving and that became my primary interest for a number of years. over 500 dives in a dozen countries. I nearly lost complete interest in MCs.
Then, in 2012, I was asked to take a ride down the Baja. I was given a new adventure bike by my host and was completely captivated. I have spent all my vacations adventure riding from that time. Several extended trips in the US and a dozen to Mexico. Today I have a Triumph Tiger based at my home and one based in Germany. With two tours in Europe done in 2018 and 2019, the next step seemed to be Morocco. I have yet to ride Iberia.
Of course, 2020 came and I have been sitting. Not willing to ignore the protocols. Now, already vaxed, I'm looking forward to travel when I deem it prudent.
I was pleased to find a dedicated Morocco travel community here.
Cheers, Digger

Hi Daniel and welcome,
Hopefully we can get back to something like normal soon and you can put some of that knowledge to use.

Hi Digger
Tim Cullis and Chris Scott are the chaps for Morocco information.
For Spain Simon Rice is the man, I don’t think he’s on here but you’ll find him on the ABR & UKGSer forums.
Hopefully see you in Europe soon

Absolutely! Ran across Chris at ADVrider. He led me here. Got two of his books, Morocco in the post box just today. And glad to have found Tim when I got here. Been reading him for hours now.

Welcome along and it is good to see another diver on here. Chris’ books are a good read aren’t they.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
