Finding my way!

Hi everyone!

It's nice to discover a lot info and knowledge in this forums, the more i read the more i want to know, seems that there is life beyond the daily routine.

In the meantime, i think i'm wasting my youth or the tail of my youthness (if this word exists), i am 37. And i don't want to be an old man with X years who has lived e.g: 40 years the same day.

I'm not sure what bike i'm going to use, this is one of the reasons i found this forum, but i decided years ago to see the world and live my life, and now is the right time and the moment to plan it. And move forward

About me? Not very interesting.

Well... 21 years of riding motorbikes, cross, enduro and supermoto, few road bikes, a V-max 1200, a CBR 900 a couple of months and my current Bandit 6.

I live in the south of Spain, mediterranean coast, near a desert and now the temperature is 10 Celsius degrees and i'm freezing.

Happy to stay here -first step done- now i need to learn the more possible, set up a plan when i have the basics, and move! I'll learn The other things during the way. Paralysis of analysis is not good either.

See you in the way or in the forums.

You have a friend here if needed or if you want.

Un saludo!

Yup, you are at the right age, you can be n the open road In your mid fourties.

People have ridden all manner of bikes around the world, sport bikes, hogs, and of course the most common DS bikes.

Buy something reasonable to afford for you, do not get caught up in the farkle nonsense etc.

This is a great site for information as most people have traveled fairly extensively so the nonsense is at a minimum.

Do not let the nay Sayers in RL talk you out of your dream, you will be very miserable if you do.

Good luck

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
