Hello from La Rioja in Spain
Hi,
I have just discovered this forum and am amazed of the help that is bringing to me.
I plan to start my big journey next May from La Rioja in Northern Spain heading to Mongolia and China, and then probably leave the bike for some time or return back, do not know yet.
It will be a self present for my 40th birthday and would be happy to join anyeone at any point. I have done some offroad motorbike travelling before in Nepal, Vietnam, Argentina and down to Senegal and Mali from Spain.
I also want to offer my property in Northern Spain for free storage of any kind of motorbike, no matter if it is for days or months...

¡Bienvenido!
Welcome to HUBB, Jonatan!
Buena cosecha el 73... casi tanto como el 76!
Warm greetings from a Sevillian (married to a Riojan). Maybe next summer we are going for a couple of weeks to La Demanda, hopefully with the bike, to stay with her family in the Viniegras.
Hubb, the right place to prepare such a trip.
Happy travels!
Esteban

Thank you for the wellcome,
Esteban, I live right in the mountains of La Demanda, only 4 kms from Ezcaray, running a casa rural, so if you intend to come to Rioja give me a call or email me at La Casona del Pastor and let me invite you for a brunch? (almuerzo)
I should be back there from the trip for the high season of July and August.

Hi Jonatan,
Thanks a lot for the nice offer. Beautiful area, strongly recommended to anyone getting to northern Spain. They produce very beautiful and cozy wool blankets in the area, btw.
For us, it is not sure yet. My wife's uncle has a house in Viniegra de Abajo. We'll see. It'd be nice to chat about Mongolia or go out for a ride.
Take care,
Esteban

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
