Hi from Germany
Hello Hubber,
just wanted to introduce myself to the HUBB.
Living in Germany and will start a RTW with my trusty AT in 2017.
I hope to be able to find some informations on the HUBB and help others when possible.
Take care

Welcome to the Hubb
Tell us more about yourself, the route you want to travel around the world and about your trusty Africa Twin.
And when you leave Germany to ride around, pls post a ride report here.
But dont forget, the most difficult day of your journey will be leaving home ... and depending on the time you spend riding, the second most difficult day will be returning home.
I had a hangover (for sure over the limit in Germany) on this two days. I spend the time from 1999 to 2005 riding, and I still ride every day here in Bolivia.
Yes, you will find a lot of information here on the Hubb, and you will meet a lot of interesting people over the community function here on HU.
All the best

Hi Rosto and welcome.
They do say timing is everything so its a shame you only posted yesterday as last weekend I went to a great HU meeting in Germany and I am sure that even though there were about 150 of us many of those people would have been able to offer you the advice you asked for.
However that said I am sure that this Forum will provide you with more than enough information to make you feel even more confident when you set off in 2017.
Please keep us all informed of your progress.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
