Bike storage in Bali or Java
Hello,
I have traveld overland from Germany to Indonesia with my BMW-Sidecar. After nearly 10 month on the road it is time for a little break. The plan is to leave the motorbike in Bali or Java and go home for about 6 Month (April to September) before I
continue travelling back to Europe.
Does anybody know a save and dry place where I can store my Motorbike (with SIdecar) in Bali or Java?
Thanks for your help
Greetings from Sumatra

There is (or at least there was 4 years ago) an expat-bikers club in Bali, just a few kms outside of Kuta, on the right hand side of the road as you ride towards Denpasar. Those guys were very helpful, and might be able to help you find a suitable place... Sorry I don´t even remember the club´s name or have any one of their contact informations anymore, but asking around in Kuta should point you in the right direction soon enough.
Did you bring the bike into the country on the carnet? If yes, then worth checking out, how long it´ll be allowed to stay.

bali java
i have a biker friend in bali i can try and contact for you if you still need a place to store your bike. i have a couple of other friends living down there. dont know if they have garages, but i can call and check.
also, if u are in jakarta, u can store your bike at my apartment. it cost something like 50,000rp/month for a bike and 100,000rp/month for car. they would probably want to chage you the car rate because of the sidecar.
there are also Big Bikers clubs that might be able to help

Hi travelNteach, thanks for Help
I will not make it to Jakarta this spring, but maybe later in the jear, when I continue my trip.
I wrote to some Expat-Bikeclubs in Bali, witout reply jet.
Anyway, I found a Self-Storage witch is able to store my bike in Dempasar.
The costs are quite high (650.000rp/month), and I would prefer a private solution.
Would be nice if you can call your friend.
Greetings from Flores
