Freight forwarder in Bali?
Can anyone recommend a freight forwarder in Bali? I'm in Java right now and I need to get to Sidney in a month for a Simpson desert crossing a friend is setting up. Originally the plan was to go all the way to Dili, but I have heard horror stories of people waiting for the boat... and I'm slower getting there then I thought.
I am already past Jakarta and I don't really want to go back so I'm hoping that's not my only option.
Thanks!
Noah

I used CAS Cargo Bali: Cargo bali in early 2008 to send a DL650 from Bali to Perth, quite expensive at around 1200 euros (but this was in large part due to aircraft cargo limitations, meaning the bike flew a huge detour, Bali to Melbourne to Perth!) ... I don´t think this company had sent a motorcycle as freight before mine, and during the process, they seemed lost with the paperwork, could not get the Dangerous Goods certificate right on first try, etc. But other stuff, including crating, went okay, and the freighting itself (with Quantas) was problem-free.
There were a few other travellers in Bali at the same time, and they were sending two bikes first on a truck to Surabaya, and from there by ship to Australia... but I don´t know, how it worked out for them. I believe sea freight from Surabaya could be a possibility, but it is slow.

Try to check FIN Logistic in Kuta: they've manged to fly my bike from Bali to Tokyo (2011).
You must to deal with Thai Cargo, as the local company (Garuda Indonesia) was charging 32$ per Kg...
