Iranian Visa - The Fastest way to get it
Hi,
so I was wondering whats the fastest and most reliable way of getting an Iranian visa to go from Pakistan through Iran to Turkey!
Iranianvisa.com has been mentioned numerous times on horizons unlimited?!
Also I heard that you sould not say that you will travel through the country by by motorbike - but what should you say then?
Thanks for your help!

No Iranian visa
I first applied direct to Iranian consulate Canberra Australia for a visa to Iran on the 1st of Mar 2013.
They returned my application saying I needed a sponsor to invite me to Iran.Or if I did not know anyone to go thru an agent.
Contacted Iranianvisa.com.10/3/13 Yes for E35 they would supply an "authorisation code" which I would send to the consulate with my passport to obtain visa usually in a week. OK Paid
After 2 wks nothing from iranianvisa.com. There excuse. Holidays in Iran.MFA not working from 21/3/13 to 6/4/13. New Year then Easter
They suggest I pay extra E20 for "Urgent" application.I do.
10/5/13 I can wait in Aus no longer. Bike is in Kathmandu awaiting my return to overland to Europe.Contact iranvisa.com again. Can I pick up my visa in Lahore when "authorisation" code comes. Yes, sorry unavoidable delays MFA in Iran not issuing "authorisation" Cost E40 to change place of visa pick up .If and when "authorisation" is issued.
29/5/13 I am in Kathmandu getting some work done on my bike. Still no "authorisation" code. Leave for Pakistan tomorrow will have to get Pakistan visa exten. there because of holdup.
I believe it is all to do with Iranian election but no official will say this.Hoping for "authorisation code soon after election .15/6
Any suggestions. Not China because they are APITA as well for single vehicle.

There is another thread about Iran-Visa situation
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...o-longer-69459
Info from the HP from Iranianvisa.com:
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there will be some restrictions for land entry into Iran from 10 Mar. 2013 until further notice.
Tourists arriving on public transportation (trains, coaches, ferries) can still enter Iran with a valid visa. However, immigration officers may want to match their point of entry with the itinerary submitted with their visa application.
Tourists traveling with their own vehicles (cars, motorcycles, bikes, on foot) need to mention this in their visa application, so that their program is confirmed before issue of the visa. Those arriving on land borders may be deported, even holding a valid visa, if they have not mentioned this in their visa application.
The above points are our best understanding based on quotes by the MFA's visa officers and IranianVisa.com is not responsible for the accuracy of these information.
Should you have any question in this regard, please contact info@iranianvisa.com.
I have the same Problem. I want to cross Iran in August 2013, but right now there seems to be no chance to get an "authorisation code". I hope this will change after the elections...
If anybody gets his Iran Visa before please let us know.
Greetings from India
Heiko

Iranian visa
Hi, I have used the services of Iranianvisa twice 2011&2013 and have been very disappointed with the 'service' they have supplied. Personally I would not recommend them from my experience.
I have used the services of Persian Voyages UK for the second time and they do not disappoint. I applied May 2013 for my authorization code and just over a week later I had it.
They are more expensive £80. Nasrin is the contact at Persian Voyages and is a very helpful man. I will be heading off to Nepal from the UK through Iran at the beginning of July.

Iran Travelling Center got one for me as part of my "guide" package. It took less than two weeks.
