We are looking at the possibilities of crossing myanmar overland aswell and might be interested in doing so end of 2014, early 2015.
Seen itiniraries of 9 days which include daily stretches of around 400km and that does not really appeal to us. Travelling on a Honda CT110 does not mean big distances in short times ;-)
Still, interested!

Cool a postie - love it!
Hey, have a number of people looking to cross Myanmar (Thailand to India BTW) early next year. A mix of bikes and cars but hopefully we will have a tour organised soon. Most of us also want to do the longer trip. We are interested in one tour run by Mutu. He does a 12 day trip.
Checkout the following google group:
myanmar-2015@googlegroups.com
We have heaps of info there including who we are. We have lots of new people showing interest now. If you can't view or join then contact Overland15. Liz should be able to send an invite to you.
Cheers, Rob.

Hi! I have 2 other bikers with me and we plan to ride across Burma from Thailand early next year. One way ticket for us, as we will continue our ride into India, Pakistan,Iran, Turkey and Europe final destination Amsterdam, Holland.
Mighty glad if we could team up to cost share the Burma portion. I have not made any query to any agent yet.

Guys, I'm planning a Myanmar crossing for this December from India to Thailand. So far 2 riders have confirmed, maybe 4. Looking for 2 to 4 more to join us. This would be a slightly longer itinerary of 13 days and less long riding days since we'll be on Royal Enfield Bullets
Plan to be in Moreh by Dec 1 and Mae Sot by Dec 14. We're continuing on into Laos and Cambodia
