For Tibet to Laos -we are now thinking of July 2nd. There appears to be one 4wd listed on that 20 day tour now.
We just heard we've been granted the Iran visa (took 6 weeks though), only the Pakistan one to go.

April May for Tibet
Rob has met a couple 2up on a BMW who might be keen for Tibet in April May.....they were heading for Burma as they thought you could enter via road...so have had a change of plans...Rob will be heading to India this coming week from Turkey.

For you guys who wanted to enter Tibet this year, I heard the area is closed to all foreigner till early summer. Make sure you can enter before you make detail plan.

That's interesting since agents are still confirming tours through for May and June..Our lot are heading through from May 28th..if anyone is keen to join.

We are in Nepal (Jomson) 2up on an Enfield, & have been told Tibet will be closed until at least mid April but most likely be mid May.

Hi Guys,
I plan to enter Nepal from India arround 5th of October and than would be very interested in joining a gruop on a tour via Tibet to Laos. I will be travelling with a friend - two bikes.
Is that date convienient to any of you ?

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB.
