Nepal riding routes
Hello!
I'm in Kathmandu just arriving from Tibet. So far Nepal looks amazing but I was wondering if anyone had some rides/routes they've already done? I'm sure you can't miss in a place like this but any suggestions would be welcome!
Thank you!

No. No info. I'm finding it's not necessary as it's pretty easy to get find amazing riding.
I'm in pokhara right now. Just went Parahawking. Let's try to meet up.

That will be why no one bothered to reply: you are funnelled into the biggest range of mountains in the world.

Much better than Kath. Cleaner air for one.
Pick up a map of Annapurna and take it from there; visit the national museum of mountaineering while in Pok and, if you fancy it, the Gurkha museum for a bit of military history.

Nepal
Hi,
Pokhara to Muktinath is a great ride.
Nepal on a RX135 Overlander
Leave Pokhara via Sarangkot-Kaskikot ( easy piste ) then rejoin to Baglung ( Fuel-Lodging )
next: Jomsom- Muktinath.
have fun!

While in Pokhara, don't miss a or two at the Bullett Basecamp, on the main road entering the town: you can find it on the left.
Atmosphere is very friendly and it's always attended by travellers eagering to chat and share stories.

Thanks everyone. Headed to mukinath. Had a flat yesterday, but I'll try to fix it properly today and head further into Annapurna tomorrow.
Everyone needs to add "silk road" to their list of /meeting places.
Also rafting is incredible in nepal. I stashed my bike for three days and had a blast!

Bullet Basecamp is no more i'm afraid.
Phat Kath now has a Kathmandu and Pokhara branch.. my favourite bar after Bullet Basecamp... (bit biased seeing as I worked there!)
Yep Muktinath was one of the best trips I had in Nepal. You can also ride to Manang on the other end of the Annapurna trail. Few more bridges to carry the bike up the steps but there are always people around to help out..
Call in to Matt at Hearts and Tears in Pokhara (inside Busy Bee bar/caff) and see if he has any ongoing adventures out of town..

I went to Muktinath in November, and Manang in the spring.
No snow, no ice, but the guesthouses get bloomin cold at night, and frost on the bikes in the morning up past 3000m, park them in what will be a sunny spot to warm them up in the morning. I think all guesthouses had bedding but best to take as much warm clothing as possible.
You can bathe in the hot springs in Tatopani... that soothes the jiggled bones.

I tried to ride up to muktinath amonth ago there was a water that was unrideable just past Tatopani. Apparentl locals will carry your bike through a walking track if you pay them. but if you think its rideable dont try this lol So Donkeys cant swim - YouTube
